BABIES! BABIES! AND MORE BABIES!!

What a spring we have had at the farm with our barnyard friends. Our reindeer and goats have had lots of babies this spring. We enjoy watching them grow and play on the farm.

In a matter of two weeks we were the proud owners of two more reindeer. Vixen and Dancer have each had babies this spring on the farm. Dancer had a little girl and she is solid brown at this time. Vixen had a big boy and he is trying to rule the pen already!!! As most of you know Vixen is one of our white reindeer and her baby is white and black. He has black marks around each of his eyes. Therefore, we have named him ‘Bandit’ and he runs around the pen like a mad man. He loves to get all the other reindeer all riled up.

Our mama goats had their babies during February and March. We have had twelve new kids added to the family. They are all different colors and sizes and what a joy to watch them. They love to climb in their feed buckets and take a nap. They are already climbing up the goat walk to overlook the barnyard. They spend their days strolling the pastures with the sheep and llamas.

We will have the babies on display during our fall season so be sure to stop and see them.
