It’s a busy time for the Roba family! Each spring, we plant new trees at the farm. Evergreens include varieties of spruce, pine and fir — which become our Christmas tree forest for harvesting in a few years. Flowering and shade trees include maple, oak, pear, plum, cherry … and more.

We are also working to harvest our nursery trees for sale at the farm. Using a giant spade attachment to our tractors, we dig up the tree and drop it into a wire basket lined with burlap. Then the burlap is gathered up around the trunk of the tree and secured, protecting the root system.

This is our process:

Burlap balled trees are for sale at the farm by special appointment. Since we are busy with spring farm chores, we do not have regularly open-to-the-public hours, but we are happy to make appointments to show you the nursery stock available.

We have a price list and more information available on our website . Delivery of your tree purchase is available for a reasonable fee.
